SOCIAL TABLE 4.0 by the usual neXt
An immersive dome that makes your outdoor area more useful, distinctive and programmable
If the outdoor space works only in a few time slots or does not truly differentiate the venue, it becomes hard to increase dwell time, return visits and perceived value.
SOCIAL TABLE 4.0 brings a 6-metre Tholus Dome into your outdoor space together with an event calendar designed with you. The goal is not to add scenery, but to create visits, daily use and programming.
The problem
When the outdoor area is not enough to make people choose you
Many outdoor spaces work well only in a few hours or stay too similar to nearby venues. Without a clear reason to stop, return or talk about the experience, the outdoor area performs below its potential.
Difficulty differentiating the venue from nearby competitors
Short dwell time and little programmed use of the outdoor area
Weak continuity between event, bar service and return visits
The response
A format that combines space, programming and everyday use
The dome creates a covered, immersive environment to integrate into the venue, while the event calendar and ambient content help give rhythm to the space. The site visit is there to understand whether that balance is sustainable in your context.
Recognisable space
A structure of about 28 m² indoors that makes the outdoor area clearer and usable in different ways throughout the day.
More recognisability for the venue
Shared calendar
Event slots and free-use moments defined with a clear calendar and operating conditions.
More control over timing and operations
Use beyond events
Outside programmed slots the dome can stay active as a lounge or themed environment.
More useful hours for the outdoor space
Transparent economics
Upfront costs, power, structure use and commercial terms are defined before launch.
More clarity before signingUseful data
The figures to evaluate right away
Initial investment
In the partnership formula, the structure, installation and initial technical management are on us.
Indicative outdoor area
Final verification happens during the site visit, together with access and power connection.
Event slots per month
Indicative programming to confirm according to season, territory and shared calendar.
Guests per session
Indicative capacity in the 6-metre configuration.
Value for the venue
What it can bring to the project in practice
Benefits to verify during the site visit, not automatic promises.
Lighter entry point
In the partnership model the structure enters without initial investment from the venue. Power, space, calendar and activation still need to be assessed.
More uses for the same space
Events, lounge moments, branded activations or morning activities: the same structure can work across different times of day.
More continuity between experience and bar
When the format fits the context, the session can extend dwell time and consumption before or after the event.
Clear commercial terms
Any ticket commissions and local-channel use are defined before launch, not after.
Guided content and programming
You do not have to build everything from scratch: we evaluate calendar, offer tone and the content that best fits your audience together.
Removable structure
Installation does not require permanent works and the structure can be removed if the project does not continue.
Seasonal or ongoing use
It can work both for peak seasons and for contexts looking for a new function for the outdoor space.
How the partnership works
First we verify the fit, then we decide whether it makes sense to move
Before talking about calendar or commercial terms, we verify four concrete things: available space, access, power connection and whether the format fits the kind of audience the venue serves.
If the project makes sense, we define dome use, event slots, free-use moments and operating responsibilities. If there is no fit, it is better to know before investing time and resources.
That makes the partnership more useful for the venue as well: not a generic promise, but a readable scenario before launch.
Use across the day
One possible articulation of the format
Optional guided sessions
If the context allows it, the dome can host yoga, breathwork or slower formats in underused hours.
Lounge or ambient content
Outside events the structure can remain active as a themed environment or a stay space.
First event slot
A well-positioned event can help drive movement toward aperitivo or extended stay afterwards.
Second slot or private event
Depending on the territory, a second time slot or dedicated moments may work.
Venue-reserved use
Free slots should be defined together to keep the format sustainable for the team running the space.

Transparency
The economic model has to be understood before, not after
The partnership formula is built to avoid asking the venue for upfront investment in the structure and to move attention to a more useful question: does this format really work for your space?
We bring the structure, content, technical management and event organisation. The venue brings space, power, communication support and coherent management of the shared time slots.
Before launch we clearly define indicative calendar, use of the dome outside events, direct costs, any ticket commissions and exit conditions. If the context does not hold up, it is better to say so immediately.
Fit
It works best when the venue has space, energy and a real reason to program it
You do not need to look all the same. The structure simply needs to make sense for flow, audience and management.
Good fit if
Best when there is already an aperitivo or evening band where the dome can add one more reason to stay.
Contexts where the dome can become a guest activation or a distinctive use of the outdoor space.
Where a format that adds programming and recognisability to the peak season is needed.
Best when there is already familiarity with reservations, special moments or local communication.
Not a fit if
- Outdoor spaces that are too small or inaccessible
- Venues without a practical nearby power connection
- Venues that do not want to use the structure outside events or collaborate on communication
- Contexts that want only a scenic effect without a program logic
Proof
Three concrete signals from the Abruzzo test
During the winter 2025 test in Abruzzo, the dome was used in family, hospitality and evening contexts. You will not find inflated numbers here: you will find the most useful signals for understanding whether the format could make sense elsewhere.
- Roccaraso: family audiences returned across multiple evenings to try different content.
- Rivisondoli: positive feedback on dwell quality and the experiential character of the evening.
- Ovindoli: a partner venue that saw the dome work as an additional reason to visit and return.
The photo and video materials on the page come from this test phase. In a call we can distinguish what is replicable, what depends on the territory and what needs dedicated programming.
How to start
Four steps to understand whether it makes sense
Call and preliminary check
We start from the space, venue type, season and the time band that matters most.
Site visit
We check size, access, power and operating constraints.
Clear agreement
We define calendar, dome use, commercial conditions and responsibilities.
Installation and launch
If there is fit, we organise installation, configuration and the first shared calendar.
FAQ
The most useful questions before a site visit
Practical answers on costs, structure use and how the format works.
• Who covers the initial costs?
In the partnership formula, the structure, installation and initial technical management are on us. The venue covers power and the agreed operating costs within the project scope.
• How much space is really needed?
As a rule of thumb we evaluate outdoor areas of about 35 m² and above, flat and accessible. The final measure is confirmed only during the site visit.
• How is the use divided between you and the venue?
We define it before launch: event slots, free-use moments, evening bands and use of the structure outside programming.
• How do ticket commissions work?
Any commissions for the venue and use of the sales channel are defined explicitly before launch.
• How long does the partnership last?
Duration, renewal and possible exit are clarified in the agreement. If there is no fit or the project does not hold up, we prefer a simple, transparent exit.
• Who handles maintenance?
Technical support and ordinary and extraordinary maintenance stay inside the scope we manage, with timing and methods defined in the project.
• Can the dome be used outside the season or outside events?
It depends on context, equipment and calendar. In many cases the structure can remain active as a lounge or ambient environment outside event slots.
• Is the installation invasive?
No. The installation is removable and does not require permanent works, but access and site conditions always need to be checked first.
