Story Room for a B2B manufacturer with panoramic projection and an interface for choosing processes and application cases

Story Room for B2B manufacturing

Turn a factory visit into evidence of your industrial capability.

Processes, controls, applications and customer cases become a physical, interactive journey. Buyers, engineers and distributors see where the difference comes from and finish with the right next step: sample, test, demo, audit or RFQ.

Story Room 180°: CHF 20'000–24'000 + VAT · Physical configurations start from CHF 26'000 + VAT. Scope is confirmed after the technical review.

Before and after

From factory tour to commercial evidence.

Before, visitors see machines and finished products but reconstruct the value themselves. After, they follow a journey selected for their role, connect process and control to a real application and finish with precise evidence or a commercial next step.

01

The visit shows

The shop floor, a general presentation and information spread across people, slides, videos and documents.

02

The Story Room proves

Why the process reduces risk, solves a constraint or enables an application, using evidence chosen for the decision maker.

Role-based journeys

The same industrial capability. Three different decisions.

The core story stays consistent, while depth and final action change. The visit remains coherent without forcing every audience through the same presentation.

01

Management and procurement

Continuity, capacity, service, risk and the solution’s economic value.

02

Engineers and specifiers

Specifications, materials, tolerances, tests, integration and comparable cases.

03

Distributors and sales networks

Range, applications, sales arguments and reusable market materials.

  • Machinery and automation
  • Components and processes
  • Technical export suppliers

Visitor journey

Problem → process → application → evidence → action.

Visitors do not browse a content archive. Each chapter answers a buying question and leads to the most useful next step.

  1. 01

    Industrial problem and choice criteria

  2. 02

    Process, expertise and quality control

  3. 03

    Applications and comparable cases

  4. 04

    Physical, technical or demonstrative proof

  5. 05

Next step: sample, test, audit, demo or RFQ

Commercial outcomes: Sample or test · Demo or technical meeting · RFQ or opportunity.

Configurations and investment

Four scopes. All include Experience, Activation and Measurement.

The range depends on the space, authentic objects and interaction level. Original productions, media, building work and out-of-scope integrations are itemised separately.

The complete system

A permanent experience, use programmes and a measurable pipeline.

The room makes value visible. Activation places it in existing commercial occasions. Measurement links the visit, evidence and opportunity to the data your company already uses.

01

Story Room

Process, control, applications and cases become a permanent journey guided by objects, images and interaction.

02

Activation

Customer visits, dealer days, academies, open houses and trade-show follow-up receive coherent invitations, calendars, ownership and materials.

03

Measurement

Selected journey, requested evidence, meetings, opportunities, orders and margin can connect to the CRM or sales process.

Invitation → visit → evidence → opportunity → margin.

When to use it

One room. Four commercial programmes.

  1. 01

    Qualified customer visit

A role-based journey prepares or completes the shop-floor visit and ends with proof.

  2. 02

    Dealer day and academy

Applications, cases and sales arguments become a repeatable training session.

  3. 03

    Open house and product launch

New ranges and capabilities enter a structured programme for customers and partners.

  4. 04

    Trade-show follow-up

Qualified contacts continue from the first conversation to relevant cases, tests and opportunities.

Industrial customer centres

The best references let people test, choose and continue.

Publicly documented industrial centres combine explanation, demonstration, training and collaboration. Story Room applies the same principle in a compact format built around your process.

Independent public benchmarks. The organisations cited are not clients or partners of the usual neXt and do not endorse or sponsor Story Room.

Measurement and return

Return comes through the pipeline, not audience size.

Before the project, we define total cost, suitable visits and the commercial action that matters. We then connect samples, tests, demos, RFQs, opportunities and orders to contribution margin.

01

Actual use

Sessions, qualified attendees, role, language and journey completed.

02

Evidence requested

Sample, test, demo, audit, technical consultation or follow-up meeting.

03

Pipeline

Influenced opportunity, RFQ, proposal, stage progression and sales-cycle timing.

04

Value

Order, revenue and contribution margin linked under agreed rules.

Frequently asked questions

What to know before assessing the space.

Which manufacturers is it designed for?

Especially machinery, component, equipment and technical-process manufacturers that host buyers, engineers, distributors or customers and need to make process, control, applications and service capability visible.

Does it replace the production-floor visit?

No. It prepares, completes and preserves its evidence. It is especially useful when a line is idle, stages are confidential or distant, noise limits explanation or different audiences need different journeys.

How does it adapt to buyers, engineers and distributors?

The kiosk selects language, role, sector or problem and opens relevant chapters, cases and evidence. The core story remains consistent while technical depth and the final action change for each visitor.

How is return measured?

Qualified visits are linked to samples, tests, demos, audits, RFQs, opportunities, proposals, orders and margin. The business case starts with break-even and uses real commercial data.

How long does delivery take?

On average, three to six months from quotation to turnkey delivery, depending on the space, available content, building work, approvals and integration. Phases and responsibilities are defined before the executive proposal.

Can content and languages be updated?

Yes. The interface and journey are designed to update cases, applications, products, collections and languages without rebuilding the room. Autonomy and support are defined in the offer.

How much does a manufacturing Story Room cost?

The 180° Core costs CHF 20'000–24'000 + VAT. Physical configurations start at CHF 26'000–32'000 + VAT. Space, objects, scenography, interactions and original productions determine the final scope.
