It suits you if…

  • You work in a heritage institution or in the cultural and creative sectors.
  • You can join an international consortium, a group of partners from different countries.
  • You want to develop and validate practices that link cultural experiences to well-being.

It is not for you if…

  • You plan to apply alone: the call is built for international consortia.
  • Your organisation is established in Russia or Belarus, or is subject to EU restrictive measures.
  • You need a grant for a cultural production or tour rather than research and pilots.

How much you can get

The call has a total budget of €16,000,000 for all selected projects together. The call does not state a minimum or maximum grant per project, or a co-financing rate. Eligible costs take the form of a lump sum, as set out in the Commission decision on lump sums under Horizon Europe. Ask your National Contact Point how the lump sum is set before you plan your budget. An advance payment and interim payments are available.

What it pays and what it does not

Pays

  • Work to develop practices that make cultural experiences support health and well-being.
  • Small pilot trials or other suitable methods to validate those practices.
  • Grants to outside organisations that join your work, such as heritage institutions or creative-sector entities.

Does not pay

  • The call does not state which costs are excluded. Ask your National Contact Point.
  • Consultant fees for writing the proposal cannot go into the budget.

Mistakes that cost you the money

  • Applying without partners from several countries. Consequence: The proposal does not meet the consortium condition of the call.
  • Leaving out heritage and cultural and creative stakeholders. Consequence: The proposal does not match what the call asks projects to involve.
  • Ignoring the page limits and layout of Part B. Consequence: The proposal does not follow the rules set in Part B of the application form.
  • Including a partner established in Russia or Belarus. Consequence: That partner cannot take part.
