Guest relaxing on a lounger inside a Soma Reale room with panoramic forest imagery

Immersive environment for hotels, resorts and spas

Soma Reale

The immersive room that becomes a wellness session and guest lounge.

Soma Reale turns an existing room into an enveloping environment where panoramic imagery, spatial sound, lighting and reclining loungers follow the same programme.

The property can offer it as an individual, couple or small-group session, then open it as an immersive relaxation lounge during the rest of the day.

What it does

One room. Two services during the same day.

When booked, Soma Reale hosts 12-, 20- or 25-minute wellness sessions. Between bookings it changes to Lounge mode, becoming an immersive relaxation area for hotel or spa guests.

A new sellable experience

A standalone service, treatment upgrade or part of a wellness package.

Better use of existing space

A spare treatment room, converted guest room or small meeting room can become an immersive environment.

Active between sessions

Quiet, continuous landscapes welcome guests before and after treatments.

Run by the current team

Staff choose mode, programme, duration and language while the system coordinates the sequence.

Guest journey

What happens from entry to the return to the property.

This is an example session, not a fixed protocol. Timing, voice, content and practitioner presence change when Soma Reale is used before, during or without treatment.

Spa practitioner shows a guest the available relaxation sessions before entry

1. Leave distractions outside

Phone, bag and personal items have a defined place. The practitioner explains duration, position and how the session can be stopped.

Guest settles on the lounger while staff prepare the Soma Reale room

02 · 05

2. Find a comfortable position

The guest lies or sits. There is no headset or controller; eyes can remain open or closed according to the programme and personal preference.

03 · 05

3. The room changes gradually

Normal light decreases, the first images appear and the soundscape replaces outside noise. A voice can guide breathing or relaxation when included.

Guest sits up as normal lighting returns at the end of the session

04 · 05

4. Keep the session simple

There are no goals to achieve. Image, sound, light and optional vibration follow a slow sequence while treatment continues or the guest remains alone.

Staff clean the lounger and check the control panel before the next session

05 · 05

5. Return without an abrupt stop

Sound and images reduce, service lighting returns and staff accompany the guest out or into the treatment that follows.

Session and Lounge

A bookable session when it earns revenue. A lounge when it welcomes guests.

Soma Session

Individual, couple or small-group appointments of 12, 20 or 25 minutes with private access and an automated sequence.

Content

Soma Lounge

45–60 minute ambient cycles, continuous landscapes and simple access before or after treatments.

Room & Dome 6

We start with the rooms the property already has.

A new room is often impossible. The first design therefore tests how Soma Reale can fit an existing treatment room, waiting room or relaxation area. Only when needed do we assess a dedicated room, dome or special construction.

Operating scenario

Model one month without turning it into a promise.

The calculation multiplies daily sessions, average seats sold, price per person and opening days. It shows hypothetical gross sales, not guaranteed revenue or a payback period.

Model one month without turning it into a promise.
Hypothetical monthly gross sales EUR 1.200 sessions × seats sold × price × days

Initial cautious example: 4 sessions × 1 seat × EUR 15 × 20 days = EUR 1,200 gross per month.

This is an editable scenario, not a forecast. It excludes actual demand, complimentary use, discounts, cancellations, VAT, fees, staffing, consumables, energy, maintenance, downtime and other operating costs.

Observable evidence

Before deciding, verify what can be observed today.

The images on this page are project visualisations, not photographs of a customer installation. Before supply, you can request a demonstration on a temporary setup; final performance is then checked in the actual location.

During the demonstration

Observe entry, start, pacing, sound, lighting, interruption and return to normal mode, as well as the controls intended for staff.

In your space

Field of view, brightness, noise, comfort, cleaning, accessibility and operating times require a survey and a test on the location-specific configuration.

First documented case

Once available with permission, we will publish location, configuration, pilot duration, responsibilities and observation method, separating measured facts from user comments.

Project team

The therapist or massage practitioner defines the session objective, language, presence and limits. The property defines flow and service. TUN turns those instructions into coordinated space, content, software and systems, working with the appointed project team.

Content

Five programmes ready for everyday operation.

Soma Ambient

Soma Arrival

A 12-minute session before a massage, treatment or wellness activity.

Soma Reset

A 20-minute main session with entry, immersion and return.

Soma Guided

A 20-minute session with breathing, progressive muscle relaxation or guided imagery.

Soma Evening

A 25-minute session with softer scenes and a gradual return.

Design process

From the practitioner’s need to a session tested in the real space.

We do not start with a projector catalogue. First we define who needs to relax, at which point, for how long and with how much practitioner presence; then we survey, design, prototype and calculate the cost.

  1. 1. Listen to the people running sessions

Therapists, massage practitioners and managers describe clients, difficult moments, treatments, timings, contraindications, welcome procedure and the perceived result they want to observe.

  2. 2. Survey the available space

We measure guest position, sightlines, light, noise, surfaces, doors, ventilation, power, network, circulation and activities that must continue in the room.

  3. 3. Test a session before the final system

A prototype lets practitioners and pilot users evaluate pace, content, voice, intensity, comfort and the return to normal room lighting.

  4. 4. Define design and price

We deliver the layout, views, calculations, components, works, storyboard, responsibilities, maintenance, cost and optional elements.

  5. 5. Install, calibrate and train

We install and synchronise the systems, then test entry, stop, treatment, exit, cleaning and restart with the staff who will use the room.

Capacity, layout and performance

From the intended effect to calculations and components.

Only after defining use, guest position, duration and content do we select technology. Survey, simulation and tests determine surfaces, projector count, lenses, lighting, sound, optional vibration, power, heat and maintenance access.

Walls and image surfaces

We check flatness, colour, gain, reflections and cleanability. The project may use treated walls, sized fabric screens, rigid panels or displays.

Projectors and blending

Count, brightness, resolution and lenses derive from geometry and ambient light. Where images overlap, we calculate blending, warping and required redundancy.

LED and normal lighting

Dimmable, controllable fittings work with service lighting. We assess flicker, colour rendering, reflections and behaviour during startup or emergency.

Sound and body vibration

Speakers, subwoofers and isolation are sized for the room. Bass shakers or vibroacoustic mats can connect to software with defined intensity limits and disable control.

Software and programmes

Our system synchronises video, sound, LED and optional vibration. Staff see presets, duration, status, start and stop; calibration and technical settings remain protected.

Services and maintenance

We calculate electrical loads, network, ventilation, heat, cable routes, supports, filter access and replacement times without compromising the existing treatment room.

Soma Reale is a relaxation environment, not a medical device or healthcare treatment. Before handover we document components, operating limits, stop procedure, cleaning, maintenance and responsibilities.

Basis for design

Research guides the choices, but it does not turn the room into a cure.

We design for conditions compatible with relaxation. We do not promise the same effect for everyone or assign therapeutic properties to projectors, lights or vibration. Content and intensity must respect preferences, sensitivities and the professional context.

Real and digital nature

Reviews and meta-analyses associate exposure to representations of nature with stress recovery and lower anxiety, while reporting substantial variation between studies, people and media.

Being away without a headset

Research on restorative environments describes “being away” and effortless attention. Soma Reale seeks these qualities through a coherent environment, not spectacular stimuli.

Guided techniques

Individual studies of recorded protocols observed changes in reported relaxation. They do not establish the same effect for Soma Reale or every person; programmes remain separate and clearly identified.

Vibration only after testing

Studies of low-frequency vibration do not yet isolate a certain benefit from sound and context. Mats or transducers remain optional, adjustable and switchable.

The evidence we use and its limits.

These studies guide content, duration, gradual transitions and prototype evaluation. They do not prove the clinical effectiveness of Soma Reale as a complete system; that would require dedicated studies of the configuration, population and stated outcome.

Practical questions

Answers before requesting a project.

What is Soma Reale in one sentence?

It is a relaxation space where a person lies or sits and follows, without a headset, a session of panoramic landscapes, coordinated sound and light.

Why was it created?

It came from a problem described by therapists and massage practitioners: some people reach treatment but struggle to leave thoughts, notifications and the pace of the day outside. Soma Reale creates a transition designed with the practitioner.

Can it be installed in an existing spa?

Yes, if the survey confirms suitable access, acoustics, blackout, power, ventilation, network and maintenance space. Existing treatment rooms, waiting areas and relaxation zones are the first options we assess.

How many people can it accommodate?

There is no fixed capacity. It depends on usable area, field of view, seating or loungers, accessibility, exit routes, session duration and turnaround time.

How can it be used?

Before a massage or treatment, during the practitioner’s work, as a standalone individual or group session, or with quieter content in a waiting or relaxation area.

What does staff have to do?

Prepare the space, present the session, seat the guest, select and start the programme, remain present when required by the agreed protocol, and reset contact surfaces at the end.

Is Soma Reale a medical treatment?

No. It is a relaxation environment. It does not diagnose or replace healthcare treatment. Clinical use or therapeutic claims require separate validation and compliance.

Is lounger vibration required?

No. It is an option, not the basis of the product. We evaluate it with the practitioner and in the prototype; when included, the software controls intensity and limits and it can be disabled.

What determines the cost?

The existing space and works, image surfaces, projector or display count, sound, LED, seats or loungers, optional vibration, programmes, software, installation and support. Price is calculated after survey and concept.
