It suits you if…

  • Your organisation is established in an eligible country.
  • You can build a team with independent partners from different countries.
  • You can apply together as an international consortium, not alone.
  • You are comfortable filling in an online form and uploading a PDF.

It is not for you if…

  • You want to apply alone: the call asks for a consortium of independent partners.
  • Your organisation is established in Russia, Belarus or non-government controlled territories of Ukraine.
  • Your organisation is under EU restrictive measures or EU administrative sanctions.
  • You need a call that is already open: this one has not opened yet.

How much you can get

The call has a total budget of €12,000,000 for all projects together. The call does not state the grant per project, the share of costs it pays or any own share. If you are unsure, write to the help desk before you write the budget. The grant is awarded through a ranking. Grants may not give a profit: revenues plus the EU grant cannot exceed your costs.

What it pays and what it does not

Pays

  • Salaries and related costs of the staff working on the project.
  • Goods you buy for the project.
  • Work you hand over to outside providers.
  • General running costs shared across your activities.

Does not pay

  • The call does not state which costs are excluded. If you are unsure, write to the help desk before you budget.
  • Any profit: the grant cannot leave a surplus over your costs.
  • The consultant's fee for writing the application cannot go into the budget.

  2. Find independent partners, each established in a different eligible country.
  3. Read the official call and its general annexes again before you write.

Each step explained in more detail: “How to apply for a grant in 7 steps”

Mistakes that cost you the money

  • Building a team without the required number of independent partners, each established in a different country. Consequence: The consortium does not meet the call's conditions.
  • Including a partner established in Russia, Belarus or non-government controlled territories of Ukraine. Consequence: That partner cannot take part, and the team may fail the conditions.
  • Leaving out Part B or a mandatory annex. Consequence: The application may be considered incomplete.
  • Putting the fee of a consultant who writes the proposal into the budget. Consequence: That cost is not accepted.
  • Planning a budget that leaves a surplus over costs. Consequence: The budget breaks the no-profit rule of the call.
