It suits you if…
- Your company has its registered office in an eligible country.
- You produce animation, as a single work or a series, for TV or online.
- You can build strong cooperation with operators, including broadcasters, from other participating countries.
- You can present plans on sustainability, gender balance, inclusion and diversity.
It is not for you if…
- You are a private individual: natural persons appear among the excluded forms.
- Your project is a talk show, reality show, music video, promotional or institutional work.
- You want money to develop projects before production, not to produce them.
- Your work was already financed by Eurimages or was first meant for cinema release.
How much you can get
The call pays a grant between €70,000 and €2,000,000. It is paid as lump sum contributions, not as refunds of single invoices. An advance payment is available. The call does not state the share you must fund yourself: ask the contact mailbox before building your financing plan. No profit is allowed on the funded work.

Pays
- The grant is calculated as lump sum contributions, set by the call, not by your own invoices.
Does not pay

Mistakes that cost you the money
- Applying alone, without partners from other countries. Consequence: The call asks for strong cross-border cooperation, so the application can fail.
- Submitting a work of an excluded type, such as a promotional film. Consequence: The project is outside the call and is rejected.
- Leaving out the sustainability, gender balance and inclusion strategies. Consequence: The application is weaker on points the call expects.
- Presenting a project already financed by Eurimages. Consequence: The call excludes it.
- Forgetting the EU funding logos and visibility duties after the award. Consequence: The call lists EU funding visibility among the obligations after the award.
