It suits you if…
- You run an independent audiovisual production company with its registered office in a participating country.
- Your project is a drama film or series for TV and online broadcast.
- Broadcasters from different participating countries have committed to your project in writing.
- You can show third-party financing and funds coming from participating countries.
- You apply alone or with a consortium, and you apply by the first day of principal photography.
It is not for you if…
- You are a private individual: natural persons appear among the excluded forms, so check the call.
- Your work is a talk show, reality show, magazine, educational programme, promotional work or music video.
- Your project was first meant for cinema or is already financed by Eurimages.
How much you can get
Grants range from €70,000 to €2,000,000. The call pays through lump sum contributions, worked out with a lump sum calculator. A prefinancing advance is available. The call does not state the share you pay yourself or a funding rate: ask the help desk before you build the budget. The call also asks for a minimum share of third-party financing.
What it pays and what it does not
Pays
- The grant is paid as fixed amounts worked out with the lump sum calculator.

Mistakes that cost you the money
- Submitting after principal photography has started. Consequence: The application does not meet the call's conditions.
- Relying on a verbal agreement with broadcasters. Consequence: Without contracts or binding letters the project may be rejected.
- Proposing a work type the call excludes, such as a reality show or a promotional piece. Consequence: The project is ruled out.
- Counting a project that Eurimages already finances. Consequence: The project is excluded.
