Cinema all’aperto in una piazza con grande schermo gonfiabile e pubblico seduto

A configurable service for squares, hotels, schools and events

Outdoor cinema

An outdoor screening requires the screen, image, sound, installation, ambient light, access and weather to work together. We review the venue, date and audience, then prepare one coherent technical system: from separate suppliers to an evening ready to open.

from EUR 1.000 VAT included · one day

Before and after

From separate suppliers to one coordinated evening.

The change also affects the organiser: the venue is reviewed early, the system arrives configured, and the operational scope distinguishes what we install from what remains with production or the venue.

Before

Dimensions, light, power, access and weather are assessed separately or too late.

After the review

Defined feasibility

Screen position, projection, anchoring and technical routes are checked before confirmation.

Before

Screen, projector, sound and cabling risk being selected as independent supplies.

After the review

One complete system

Picture, sound and installation are sized together for the venue, distance and expected audience.

Before

Licences, permits, seating, attendance and the weather plan can remain implicit until the event.

After the review

Clear responsibilities

The proposal separates included equipment, options and work owned by the organiser or other partners.

The solution

A technical configuration designed for the venue.

We start with the space, date, audience and programme. Screen, projection, sound, installation and technical start-up are defined as one system; licences, permits, seating, continuous attendance and special logistics remain explicit in the proposal.

One night or a season

The format follows the schedule.

For multiple dates, we define how long the setup remains, the required checks, operating support and final dismantling.

Use contexts

The same service supports different objectives.

The technical foundation remains recognisable; the programme, audience management, installation period and options change with the organisation and venue.

Municipalities and associations

Single screenings or seasons in public spaces, with technical scope and responsibilities defined before the date.

Hotels and destinations

Evening programmes for guests and visitors, with options for multiple languages, lounge seating, food or stargazing.

Schools, businesses and festivals

Films, talks, presentations and opening content coordinated with the production team and venue.

What can change

The foundation is repeatable. The configuration depends on the event.

We size the service after reviewing the variables that affect feasibility, quality and responsibilities. Options are confirmed only when they are compatible with the venue, programme and operating times.

01

Venue and layout

Screen position, distances, slope, access routes, ground surface and audience arrangement.

02

Programme and schedule

Films, talks, presentations, timings, one date or a season with a continuous installation.

03

Audience and access

Expected numbers, sound coverage, multiple languages, accessibility and services before the screening.

04

Operations and logistics

Technical access, power, protected cabling, attendance, weather plan, installation and dismantling.

Essential foundation. The 8 × 4.5 metre screen, laser projector, sound, standard installation, testing and start-up are the starting point, not a configuration suitable for every venue.

Within the project team

We join the plan without duplicating roles.

We can work with an event that is already in development, reading its layout, programme, venue constraints and operating plan. Our scope covers the audiovisual system, installation and agreed checks; production and the client retain clear ownership of their responsibilities.

01

Venue, installation and safety

We review drawings and constraints, identify missing inputs and return equipment footprint, position, access and technical requirements.

  • Client and venue manager
  • Architects, exhibition contractors and scenographers
  • Power, safety and access specialists
02

Programme, audience and operation

We coordinate timings, content, sound coverage, tests and start-up with the team directing the full evening.

  • Artistic direction and production
  • Agencies, destination managers and hospitality teams
  • Audiovisual technicians and local partners

Before confirmation, we share the configuration, inclusions, exclusions, installation times, approval points and conditions that may require the plan to change.

Feasibility data

Layout, performance and operating conditions.

These figures describe the Essential configuration and support an initial assessment. Distances, performance, capacity and safety are confirmed only against the actual venue and programme.

Screen area
8 × 4.5 m
Format
16:9
Projection
7,500 lm laser
Typical audience
50–300 people
01

Sightlines and distances

Layout, front row, audience depth, slope and obstacles determine how clearly the screen can be seen.

02

Light and picture

The screening starts after sunset or in controlled light. Public lighting and direct light sources are reviewed in advance.

03

Wind and anchoring

Ground surface, free space and weather conditions must allow the inflatable structure to be installed and used safely.

04

Power and routes

Supply, cable distances, protected crossings and loading access are included in the technical plan.

The stated audience range does not replace the venue plan: access routes, seating, slope, local limits and emergency management remain decisive.

How it comes together

From brief to opening in four steps.

We need the venue, date, expected audience and programme. These inputs produce a feasibility review, an approvable configuration and an installation plan.

Before confirmation

The decisions that make the evening genuinely work.

The screening is only one part of the project. We check early for constraints that can affect feasibility, cost and quality.

Film and music rights

A public screening requires permission even when admission is free. The organiser obtains film rights from the producer or distributor and follows the applicable process for music contained in the film.

SUISA guidance on public film screenings

Space, light and weather plan

The screening must begin after sunset or in highly controlled light. Before confirmation we need measurements, power supply details, access information and a plan for wind and rain.

Frequently asked questions

What you need to know before choosing a date.

How many people can attend the screening?

The configuration generally suits 50–300 people. Actual capacity depends on layout, distance from the screen, slope, access routes and venue characteristics.

Can the screening start before sunset?

The outdoor screen performs best after sunset or in highly controlled light. Projector brightness cannot recover the contrast lost in full daylight.

Are sound and installation included?

The Essential package includes the sound system, installation, image and sound setup and initial technical support. Attendance throughout the evening, special logistics and extra requirements are defined in the quote.

Are film screening rights included?

No. The organiser must obtain permission for the film and music it contains. If the title has not been chosen, we can help create a suitable shortlist; availability, rights holder and licence cost must then be confirmed.

What happens in wind or rain?

Before confirmation we check the space, anchoring, access and weather plan. If conditions do not permit safe installation, the arrangements agreed in the quote and operating plan apply.

Are discounts available for schools and social organisations?

Yes. We can offer dedicated terms to schools, universities, research institutes, charities and voluntary organisations. Purpose, budget, dates and availability are assessed case by case.

Is a free collaboration possible?

In selected circumstances we may consider a free or pro bono collaboration. The decision is discretionary and depends on public value, availability and the requested operational scope.

Initial review

Describe the venue, date, audience and programme.
