Support and releases

Support, beta access, and release notes.

VR Converter Studio 0.9.4 build 10 is a free public beta for macOS 14 or later. Videos stay on the Mac; access requires your name, email, a one-time code, and online validation at every launch. For support, include the source projection, requested output, codec, resolution, Mac model, and the exact stage where the problem occurs.

Beta access and privacy

No commercial account is required. Beta access does require registration with your name and email, confirmation through a one-time code, and online session validation at every launch. The token is kept in the protected macOS Keychain. Videos, previews, project state, settings, and exported files stay on the Mac and are not uploaded to our servers.

  • Your name and email are used to activate and manage beta access.
  • The token is issued once and stored in the protected macOS Keychain.
  • Messages, sanitised logs, and export reports are sent only when you choose to submit them.
  • Read the app privacy notice — Details about processed data, purposes, and retention.

Before contacting support

Reproduce the issue with a short, non-sensitive sample when possible. Confirm that the source opens, the detected projection is correct, and the destination has enough free space. For export errors, record codec, container, resolution, and preset. For Syphon issues, also identify the receiving application and the connection state shown by both apps.

  • macOS version, Mac model, and installed memory.
  • Source container, codec, resolution, duration, and projection.
  • Output format, preset, FOV, orientation, and displayed message.
  • Problem stage: import, preview, preflight, queue, export, or Syphon.

Diagnostic logs and attachments

Feedback may voluntarily include a message, sanitised log, export report, and technical metadata. Review every attachment before sending and remove file names or paths you do not want to share. Do not send original media unless support explicitly requests it and agrees on the channel; settings, the error, and a small reproducible sample are usually sufficient.

  • Send only information needed to reproduce the issue.
  • Review logs and reports before confirming submission.
  • Exclude confidential media, credentials, and unnecessary personal paths.
  • State whether the issue also occurs with a short purpose-made file.

Currently distributed version

The current public package is VR Converter Studio 0.9.4 build 10 for macOS 14 or later. It is a free beta and requires connectivity for access validation. This page describes the artifact that can actually be downloaded; a repository or development version is not presented as published until it replaces the distributed package.

  • Version: 0.9.4.
  • Build: 10.
  • System: macOS 14 or later.
  • Download the public beta — VR Converter Studio Beta 0.9.4 build 10 ZIP.
